Children Making Strides believes that children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder can make substantial gains when provided
intensive and coordinated services. In keeping with that belief, we are looking for committed people to fill the following openings.
Our service area is all of southeastern Massachusetts, and openings exist in various locations throughout this region. There are numerous
openings for each position.
LEAD TEACHER/THERAPIST
The Lead Teacher/Therapist is responsible for the overall operation of the child's home program. Responsibilities include development and
direction of the entire home program including evaluation, setting goals and objectives, writing and running ABA programs, data collection
and review, parent training, training, supervision and evaluation of line therapists, completion of administrative paperwork and assigned
projects, participation in staff meetings and training programs, assisting with transition services and coordination of services with Early
Intervention Program and other service providers.
Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and related experience. Experience in ABA and program development and staff
supervision.
Experience in early childhood development, occupational therapy, special education or Autism/PDD a plus. Must have reliable transportation
and be willing to travel in local service area. A belief that major gains can be made for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders,
and a commitment to helping these children achieve their full potential. Flexibility, creativity and a sense of humor are a must. Full and
part-time positions available. Salary is competitive and based upon qualifications and experience and benefits are provided.
LINE THERAPIST
The line therapist is responsible for carrying out the various aspects of the home program on a daily basis. These duties include
running discrete trials in 1:1 situation, collecting and graphing data, completing required paperwork, attending staff meetings and training
programs, participating in team meetings and other duties as assigned. This is an entry level position and there is opportunity for growth
and advancement in this position.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in related areas and/or ABA maybe acceptable in place of a degree if
training and supervision can be documented. Experience in ABA preferred, but will provide training. Experience in early childhood
education, special
education or a related field a plus. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel in local service area. A belief that major
